Custom website design for Lion King Broadway Actress Syndee Winters
syndee winters website design by CRE8 CURE8 Nikki Dalonzo

Just wrapped up a Custom Website for Broadway Star Syndee Winters, who has played “Nala” in the Lion King, as well as in Hamilton, Pippin, Motown, and Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert. She came to me with such an amazing inspiration board with vibrant colors and type fonts that got me so excited! She now has a beautiful, fun, energetic website to promote her talents, showcase her work and share her knowledge of the theatrical industry with her students in her acting and vocal training “ROAR School”. Check it out!

that’s what she said

“Nikki was an absolute GEM!”

“She was organized and had deliverables on time. She handled everything and made the whole process stress-free for me. My website looks incredible! I began receiving communication from my fans via my snazzy new site. Thank you so much, Nikki. I look forward to getting the chance to recommend you to make someone else shine!”

Design breakdown

A headshot is the first thing you see when you first land on her website. It says her name, who she is and what she does. Having your face front and center on your website will instantly great recognition and put a face to a name. This first impression is everything! So make it memorable.

The top is a swiping gallery so you can see other aspects of her website on her home page. As it scrolls you learn she has an acting and vocal coaching school called ROAR and a Youtube channel where you can learn more about the theatrical industry.

Under the top scrolling gallery there is a section that showcases the big productions she has been a part of. This shows you are in demand as a performer on the Broadway stages. Putting these types of logos on your website will bring social proof of your talents.

Next you want to place your headshots and information about yourself with a basic bio that is intriguing readers to read more about you.

Placing testimonials with directors, producers, casting directors, teachers, students or peers on your site will also help with social proof and credibility.

And of course you should always put a free gift, opt-in, or lead magnet on your website to build an audience. This can be anything you think your viewers would find valuable coming from you. You may not understand or know why you might want to do this, but you never know if you may want to sell a product, add a service, or create a community. Collecting emails to build an audience outside of social media will benefit your career in the long run.
